The future of high-tech face masks is here!

Razer, the leading gaming hardware maker, has designed a reusable futuristic face mask featuring a surgical N95 respirator, RGB lighting and voiceamp technology.

Razer’s Project Hazel: The “world’s smartest mask”

The intelligent sustainable mask known as “Project Hazel” proposes a modern transparent design that offers the lastest technology to ensure the highest degree of safety.

Razer’s stylish prototype, which is water-proof and resistant to scratches, includes a rechargeable ventilator and replaceable filters.

Its detachable ventilator has been designed to regulate airflow and filter airborne particles, at least by 95%.

The Cyberpunk-inspired mask incorporates a built-in mic and voice amplifier pack that ensures the wearer is clearly heard when masked up.

Project Hazel comes with a wireless fast-charging case that includes a UV sterilizer that glows when battery levels are checked.

The finest touch comes from the Chroma™ RGB LEDs, which produce 16.8 million different colours, allowing wearers to use customizable lighting effects.

The silicon-lined smart mask is also adaptable to lighting conditions.

The interior lights up automatically in the dark, so others can easily lip-read and see the wearer’s facial expressions.

Razer’s “smart mask” still is a prototype with no release date fixed

While Project Hazel mask may have a lot of potential considering how the pandemic is evolving, for now it’s just in a concept stage with no release date or price attached.

The prototype, which was teased on Tuesday at the CES 2021, the world’s leading annual tech trade show, will need the necessary certifications from the corresponding Health and Safety Administrations before reaching the market.
